Episode 13: The Rise Of Gotham Trinity: New Video Content Ideas With Gotham Trinity Productions

On this thirteenth episode of the Casandra Properties podcast, CEO James Prendamano is joined by his esteemed colleague Rebecca Matulonis -- and highly accomplished media production mogul and local business owner who has done very well for himself, Todd Bivona of Gotham Trinity Productions.

Gotham Trinity Productions comprises Todd Bivona, Michael Graziuso, and Michael Dellegrazie, and it was based on a common vision among them: to be a film and media production company that comes with extensive experience in the television and film industry – and brings that professionalism to local businesses here on Staten Island and beyond. “From the idea phase, writing, development, acting, shooting and editing, we are a full service operation,” says Mr. Bivona of Gotham Trinity Productions.

Todd Bivona went to Tottenville Highschool here on Staten Island, and then he attended Marist College, where he interned at HBO Sports, worked on-set as a production assistant for "Inside The NFL," along with "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel" and various boxing events. After college, Todd worked for the Food Network on the premiere season of “Next Iron Chef,” followed by being a sports reporter for a weekly newspaper, “The Coast Star” in Manasquan, New Jersey. For two decades, he’s produced shows for many different cable channels, such as QVC, ESPN, and Food Network, just to name a few. Todd Bivona has even covered the Olympics! Mr. Bivona says 2018 Olympics in South Korea was has third Olympics on location with NBC Sports, in addition to working on "Football Night in America," the Premier League, and other sports that fall under their coverage. And while he’s not busy covering footage for the Olympics, major broadcast and cable networks, he’s a partner in running Gotham Trinity Productions here on Staten Island.

Todd Bivona: The Early Years

Although he’s settled in quite nicely, Todd Bivona is far from a native Staten Islander. Mr. Bivona, in fact,  born in Bogota, Columbia. At six months old, he was adopted by an Italian-American family who lived in Canarsie Brooklyn. When he was seven years old, his family moved to Tottenville, Staten Island. He went to public schools here on the island, and then on to Tottenville Highschool. He then attended Marist College in the beautiful and scenic Hudson Valley. When he was younger, he had wanted to become a physical therapist – and he thinks that all changed when got his first videography gig for his cousin’s wedding. That experience, in addition to his experiences at Marist, sent Todd on a new path. At Marist, he met and became friends with a variety of people from different backgrounds, with many different perspectives, and he learned from them all, says Todd Bivona. Marist is where Todd says he “really blossomed as a person.” He received his bachelors degree in sports communication. In college he had many internships across cable networks. He also established great connections with the NFL network, as a production assistant stage manager.

The Professionalism and Success Continues . . .

Todd Bivona specializes in media production, and specifically, he loves sports production. The only difference is “we’re putting on a sports productions, while you guys. Rebecca Matulonis agrees and Todd’s insight, enthusiasm, and infectious personality, "not unlike past guest Jeremias JMan Maniero,"  emphasizes Todd Bivona. Rebecca goes on to say that it must be extremely effective in motivating people to get things done. Todd appreciates the compliment, but he cannot take the credit. “It takes a village,” emphasizes Todd Bivona, “and the same can be said for Casandra Properties.”
